Hookup (Facility & Equipment)

The tool hook-up is the set of activities and organization required to accept incoming process equipment (TOOL), to move it into laboratory or clean room etc. connect the tool to all facilities and test the connections of all necessary facilities meet required specification making the “complete set tool package service” fully operational.

The hook-up activity is completed when:

1. The tool is positioned.

2. The final tool utility connections are completed, tested and certified with report.

3. Ensure install sufficient pipe support and bracket.

4. Ensure paste sufficient label.

5. The process piping certification is completed (turn-on and set to intend pressure & flow etc.

6. The final decontamination, area house keeping is completed.

7. The final safety inspections have been conducted as required.
